The Beinecke Library will close to the public during the month of August 2016 as staff and collections are relocated to the building at 121 Wall St in preparation for our reopening in September 2016. Until August 1, collections will continue to be available in Yale’s Sterling Memorial Library.

The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library is one of the world's largest libraries devoted entirely to rare books and manuscripts and is Yale's principal repository for literary archives, early manuscripts, and rare books. Monday - Friday: 9 am to 4:45 pm
The temporary reading room is located in Yale's Sterling Memorial Library, across Wall Street from the Beinecke.

Monday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. to 5
