Thomas More's Prayer Book
The prayer book More kept in the Tower of London before his execution. His notes in the margin read: "Give me thy grace, good Lord: To set the world at nought." Circa 1535.
Marinetti Metal Book
A book of poetry made from 15 sheets of tin, lithographed in color on both sides by Tullio d'Albisola. Accompanied by a lithographed tin slipcase and a metal display stand. Rome, 1932.
Chinese Gaming Counters
300 mother of pearl counters handcrafted by artisans in China. For use in scoring and bidding in card games in the West. Circa 1700 to 1840.
Robert Reed Memoir Manuscript
Manuscript of a memoir by a young African-American. Documents Reed's major life events leading up to and including incarcerations the first juvenile reformatory in the U.S. and New York's first state prison. Circa 1858.
Salvador Dali's A Mad Tea Party
Lewis Carroll's Alice's adventures in Wonderland with original woodcuts and an original etching by Dali. New York,1969.
The exhibition gallery is closed while the library's building is under renovation.

The temporary reading room is located in Yale's Sterling Memorial Library, across Wall Street from the Beinecke.
