Sara Teasdale Papers
As a young woman, poet Sara Teasdale joined with a group of friends
to produce The Potter’s Wheel, a journal in which they published
their writings, paintings, designs, and photographs. Contributors
created individual pages for each issue that were later bound, creating
one of a kind collections of original work. Teasdale’s earliest
successful work, including “Guenevere,” and “Sonnets
to Duse,” were published first in The Potter’s Wheel
before being reprinted in magazines and in her first books. |
