Ryszard Zajaczkowski is a professor of Polish literature at the Catholic University of Lublin (Poland). The main field of his interests is Polish literature and religion of XIX - XX centuries. He is the author of the book The voice of Truth and Conscience: The Church in Cyprian Norwid’s works (in Polish) and many papers in Polish, Canadian, Czech, German, and Ukrainian books and journals. He also works as a commentator, editor, and translator. His output includes dozens of books translated from German into Polish.
