(Location is wheelchair accessible)
As part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, the Beinecke Library invites the public to take a look inside one of the world's largest buildings devoted entirely to rare books and manuscripts.
Learn about the history of the building and its collections, how material is acquired and cataloged, and have a tour of the summer exhibition Encounters: New Small Collections at Beinecke Library. In the Reading Room, meet with staff and see an array of collection materials selected to illustrate how researchers from around the world use the materials to make discoveries, find inspiration, and create new scholarship.
The one-hour tours will occur at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. The tours are free but registration is required. There were a few spots left as of June 9. Reserve your spot here.
Please note: Ages 16 and up only.
