Please join us on Wednesday, July 9 at 4 p.m. for the opening reception for the Beinecke Library's summer exhibition, A Legacy Parlous Abiding: The Hohenzollern-Schlaberg-Hughes Collection at Yale. The reception is free and open to the public.

Gifted to Yale by Thomas Lowe Hughes in 2011, this colection of books, maps, and artwork charts the legacy of an American family from its roots in Central Europe at the dawn of the modern age through the calamitous wars of the 20th century and beyond. The exhibition is on view through Aug.16, 2014.
