PALLADIO VIRTUEL (PETER EISENMAN: Exhibitions & Panel Discussion)
Yale School of Architecture, 180 York Street
On view through Saturday, Oct. 27
Gallery hours: Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 10am–5pm
The culmination of Eisenman's 10-year study of Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, arguably the most influential architect in history. Diagrammatic models of 20 villas, with color codes of traditional architectural components: portico, circulation, and central figured spaces. The exhibition aims to alter long-held assumptions about the 16th-century master.
