Poetry Reading: C.S. Giscombe

Poet C.S. Giscombe received the 2010 Stephen Henderson Award in Poetry from the African American Literature and Culture Society and has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Fund for Poetry.

His book, Prairie Style, received an American Book Award and Giscome Road won the Carl Sandburg Prize from the Chicago Public Library. He is a member of the faculty at the University of California, Berkeley.

Free and open to the public. Seating is limited.

The temporary reading room is located in Yale's Sterling Memorial Library, across Wall Street from the Beinecke.
