Letter addressed to the Catholic clergy of England, on the appointment of bishops / by Sir John Throckmorton, Bart.
Autograph and typescript letters, most signed, to Dollie Morris of Framlingham from various friends and pen-pals, including "Quempty" Fraser, Mollie Weberling, Geoffrey Herbert-Welch, and Edward John Hawes ("Roy"). Subjects include daily life; work; personal and romantic relationships; and Morris's "dying of boredom" in Framlingham. Herbert-Welch's letters include discussion of Morris's avoidance of physical intimacy. Hawes's letters also contain much discussion of their personal relationship, and also comment on his work for Standard Oil in India, his unfavorable opinion of Gandhi, and an unsuccessful breach-of-promise suit brought against him by Comfort Hayde. There are also a number of letters from male members of the Universal Correspondence Club and the Anglo-American and Canadian Matrimonial Bureau.
