General Modern Collection

Photographs made for scenes in Le Grand Meaulnes, a coming-of-age novel by Alain Fournier. These scenarios with molded figures were constructed by Louise-Edmée Chevalier and photographed by Laure Albin-Guillot. (1946) Title page: "Assis sur un pupitre, en balançant les jambes, Meaulnes réfléchissait."

Magnum: die Zeitschrift für das moderne Leben, 1954-1966, was a German/Austrian compendium of images and commentary on modern design, art, architecture, fashion, and lifestyle. Issue 3, was titled "Wie Weiter?" [What Next?]  And it included a memorable cartoon [titled : "Still no solution!"]
