At this week’s Fellows’ Tea, Nancy Kuhl  (Curator of Poetry, Yale Collection of American Literature) will give a gallery talk on Ernest “Hem” Hemingway’s postcards to Gertrude Stein and Alice Toklas, on view in the current exhibition, By Hand: A Celebration of the Manuscript Collections of Yale’s Beinecke Library.

Upcoming talks in the Fellows’ Tea series include:

April 29:  George Miles (William Robertson Coe Curator, Yale Collection of Western Americana) on the surveying notes and map from the Lewis & Clark expedition

May 6: Kathryn James (Curator, Early Modern Books and Manuscripts & the Osborn Collection) on ink, decay, and recent acquisitions

Join us on Mondays at 4 pm at the Beinecke Library for a gallery talk on an exhibition object, followed by tea and scones with the Beinecke Library curators and staff, visiting research fellows, and researchers.
