Presented by the Nahuatl Working Group and the Latine Arts and Activism Working Group.

In this presentation, Yale graduate students representing working groups sponsored by the Whitney Humanities Center will share objects from the Beinecke that showcase just some of the Latine voices in the collections that their research at the library seek to highlight, locally and globally.

Presenters will include Alexa De La Fuente and Ilianna Vázquez of the Nahautl Working Group and Sebastián Grandas, Zoe Guiney, and Luis Prieto of the Latine Arts and Activism Working Group.

This virtual presentation is also in advance of an in-person event to be held on Saturday afternoon, October 4, in the library.

Mondays at Beinecke online talks focus on materials from the collections and include an opening presentation at 4pm followed by conversation and Q & A beginning about 4:30pm until 5pm. Episodes are generally recorded and published on the library’s YouTube channel within a few weeks of the original live program.
