The Psalter is a liturgical book that gathered together the Psalms in a specific order to be recited during religious services. Ray Clemens, curator of early books and manuscripts at the Beinecke, will introduce us to Osborn a49, a beautifully illuminated Pslater dating to between 1250 and 1300. It is displayed in Reading English, the library's current exhibition.
