Parking

There is limited metered street parking on Grove, College, and York Streets. Parking meters accept credit cards, nickels, dimes, and quarters. Meters for handicapped parking are available on High St. between Wall St. and Grove St.  There are two public parking lots in easy walking distance from the Beinecke, one on Grove and Church Streets (two blocks east) and the other on Broadway opposite the Yale Bookstore (two blocks west).  Yale parking lots are open to the pubilc after 4 p.m.   The closest one is the Grove Street parking garage.  The New Haven Traffic & Parking Department can provide more information on parking in the city and a map.
