At this week’s Fellows’ Tea, Richard Deming  (Department of English, Yale University) will give a gallery talk on the last paragraphs of Henry David Thoreau’s manuscript of Walden.   These, along with Thoreau’s entomological notes and a stud-section purportedly from the cabin at Walden, are on view in the current exhibition, By Hand: A Celebration of the Manuscript Collections of Yale’s Beinecke Library.
