Hallelujah

Promotional photographs for Hallelujah, a musical film directed by King Vidor, and produced and distributed by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie studio. Hallelujah was one of the first films with an all-African American cast made by a major movie studio. The photographs, issued in 1929 by MGM, include  film stills and posed photographs depicting actors Fanny Belle De Knight, William Fountaine, Harry Gray, Daniel L.
