Lee Smith interviews artist Trevor Winkfield in two recent issues of the Weekly Standard: Trevor Winkfield: On Painting and Writing & Trevor Winkfield: On Major, and Minor, Artists.

Winkfield’s archive–including manuscripts, correspondence with writers, and working materials and finished artworks related to his many book projects and collaborations with poets–was recently acquired by the Yale Collection of American Literature.
