Researcher Joseph Cermatori, M.F.A. Drama ‘08, has published a previously unpublished essay by Thornton Wilder titled “The Barock; or, How to Recognize a Miracle in the Daily Life,” along with contextualizing commentary, in PMLA. Cermatori found the manuscript of the essay in a notebook in the Thornton Wilder Papers. The article, including Wilder’s essay, has been made available with open access from Cambridge University Press, publisher of PMLA.
