Parliaments, Peoples and Power

The exhibit brings together an unusual group of materials from several Beinecke collections, among them the Osborn Collection, the Rochambeau cartographic collection, and the library’s extensive collection of broadsides. It will include parliamentary papers, travel journals, theoretical tracts, literary satires, political caricatures, maps, and engravings of various aspects of government related to the countries of Western Europe, the British Isles, Scandanavia, and the New World in the early modern period.
