Ewa Kolodziejczyk completed her Master’s Degree in Polish Literature from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland summa cum laude in 2000. During her master’s studies she was selected by Collegium Invisible to further her education in Polish literature with accomplished literary critics. She was a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar at Southern Oregon University from 1998-99 in cultural anthropology. In 2005, she earned her PhD. in Polish contemporary literature from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland.She is a full time lecturer at Kasimir Pulaski Technical University, Radom, Poland, seeking tenure. Her academic responsibilities include teaching contemporary Polish literature to undergraduate students.She researches and interprets Czeslaw Milosz’s writings, prewar avant-garde poetry, and recent Polish lyrics. In her first book, Czechowicz - najwyzej piekno, she described Joseph Czechowicz’s modernist imagination. Currently she is working on her second book, Czeslaw Milosz’s American Experience.Her project at Beinecke Library focuses on Czeslaw Milosz’s literary, academic, and political activity as a cultural attaché in the United States from 1946 to 1950.
