Alexandra G. Bennett is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Northern Illinois University, where she teaches courses in Shakespeare, Renaissance literature, and modern British and American drama. Trained as an actor at the School at Steppenwolf and Shakespeare & Company, she brings performance into her classroom, leads workshops for actors and teachers, and regularly appears onstage in Chicago.
