Biography

Scott Husby has been a bookbinder and conservator since 1973. From 1996 through 2007 he was the conservator for Rare Books and Special Collections at Princeton University. He is now an independent scholar building a census of bookbindings on 15th-century printed books in American libraries. With his 2010-2011 fellowship he will begin adding the incunables at the Beinecke Library to this project. The website for the census is part of the online resources of the Bibliographical Society of America, and may be seen at: http://www.bibsocamer.org/BibSite/Husby
