In preparation for the Beinecke’s May 2015 building renovation, the library’s Medieval & Renaissance Manuscript Collection is currently closed for transfer to offsite shelving. The collection will reopen on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015.

This necessary move to offsite shelving will cause longer than normal retireval times once the collection reopens. Researchers should be sure to request collection material at least 48 hours in advance of their visit to the library. We regret any inconvenience caused by this unavoidable temporary closure.
