Marking the forty-fifth anniversary of the first videotaping of survivor testimony on video by the Holocaust Survivors Film Project, In the First Person is the first large-scale public exhibition of footage from the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies. In conjunction with this exhibit, the Fortunoff Archive is presenting a concert of its Songs from Testimonies project, featuring Zisl Slepovitch Ensemble & Sasha Lurje.

The 2025 Windham-Campbell Prize recipients will be in residence on Yale’s campus from September 16-19 for a multi-day international literary festival during which they will share their work, engage in conversation on a range of subjects, and celebrate reading and the written word with the New Haven community. All events are free and open to the public.
