Event description: 

On the eve of election day, the weekly gallery talk series will feature a special set of readings by Yale faculty, students, and staff of prose and poetry from the collections that speak from the past, in the present, to the future. Drawn from library collections, readings will include works by Langston Hughes, Rachel Carson, Alexis de Tocqueville, Robert Penn Warren, and James Baldwin, and selections from the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The readings will be cast on the Beinecke Library YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/beineckelibraryatyale
